Yoga Nidra - a guided rest
Lay down, simply listen, and invite deep rest in
- Online session
I am offering my next guided yoga nidra, also known as 'yogic sleep', or 'non sleep deep rest', on Thursday 15th February at 8.30pm, online. Helps to rest the body and mind as best possible, and helps soothe the nervous system. As we pay attention to the world at this time, we need strength and resilience, so I hope that this rest offers you a chance to recover even a little, so that you can continue to take action, whatever that is for you; writing to your mp, calling for a ceasefire on the streets, sending money to help people in Gaza. And to look after yourself as best you can. So that you can keep paying attention. There is no charge but I would ask you to make a donation to one of these two charities working in Gaza, please, or to choose your own if you would prefer. Palestinian Trauma Centre in gaza https://www.palestinetraumacentre.uk and Medical Aid for Palestinians urgent appeal https://www.map.org.uk/donate/donation-details/484 You are most welcome to join me. The purpose of the practice is to rest. And that is all that I will be offering. You just need to connect to the zoom meeting, camera on or off, lay down if you feel comfortable to, be warm and my voice will guide you through our time together in the hope that you find a sense of deep rest, and a moment to down regulate your nervous system. Physical tensions can begin to fall away and prepare you for the rest of your evening, and your sleep. The session will last around 20 minutes.
For classes, to cancel or reschedule please contact us more than 24hrs in advance. After this time no refund can be offered. Thank you. For workshops, we require at least 48 hours notice to be able to fill your space and so be able to offer a refund.
